What are the taxes and service charge applied to my bill?
For all dining room reservations, a 20% service charge will be added your bill as well as a 5% surcharge for San Francisco employee mandates. The entirety of these charges is retained by Quince, of which 100% is distributed to all non- management employees in the form of wages and benefits. We believe this compensation model creates equity, stability, and constancy for all employees across the kitchen and dining room.
Any gratuity paid on the evening of your reservation is at the discretion of each guest and is not required.
What Covid precautions are being taken?
At Quince, we update our policies to reflect the most recent guidelines from the CDC and the City of San Francisco.
PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED
As of Friday, August 20, 2021, proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for patrons wishing to eat indoors at restaurants in San Francisco. Upon entering the restaurant, you will be asked to show your vaccination card; a legible photocopy of the card, or a photograph of the card on your cellphone, and/or a Digital COVID-19 CA state vaccine record QR code. We will also continue requiring masks and social distancing throughout the restaurant per current City health mandate requirements. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please visit sf.gov/topics/coronavirus-covid-19 for the latest city mandates.
We prioritize your well-being and are taking the following additional steps for both our indoor and outdoor dining. The design of the Quince dining room inherently facilitates social distancing with generous spacing between our tables. Quince has installed a GPS Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization system that uses air purification technologies to continuously reduce pathogens and improve air quality.

All sales are final and non-refundable.
With at least 72 hours of notice, we will do our best to reschedule your reservation to a future date within the calendar year. We will not be able to accommodate any changes with less than 72 hours of notice.

What is Feed the Future?
We created a non-profit foundation, FEED THE FUTURE, which supports restaurants and farmers by providing direct aid and resources to Bay Area farms and hospitality workers in order to encourage entrepreneurship and sustainability in our local food supply.
FEED THE FUTURE provides essential, unrestricted resources to those most in need. We award grants to workers who are at risk, facing food insecurity, housing hardship, and medical care. Grants are also available to support our local farm communities by providing direct aid to purchase equipment, upgrade infrastructure, and assist farmers with direct-to-consumer sales.
Our work to help strengthen the local food community and turn ideas into action would not be possible without your financial support. Together, we can help shape our community, drive change, and ensure sustainability for local farms and the hospitality industry. Consider making a tax-deductible contribution.
