How far in advance can I make a reservation?

Reservations are currently available through June 2022.

In the month of July, Quince will be on summer break to attend to some needed repairs and maintenance in our dining room and wine cellar. During this time, we will be open to host private events and parties, offering both indoor and outdoor experiences. For updates on August reservations and announcements regarding our summer plans, subscribe to our newsletter.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

We are able to make accommodations for common dietary restrictions (for example: vegetarian, pescatarian and can remove shellfish, nuts, or gluten from our menus) with at least 72 hours of advance notice. Please know that it may not be possible for us to accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies. Please email with any specific allergy questions or concerns.

What does my purchase of a reservation include?

Your purchase includes your food menu, service and taxes.

Supplements to the menu and alcoholic beverages (if you do not choose the wine pairing in advance), are available for purchase at the time of your experience for an additional expense.

What are the taxes and service charge applied to my bill?

For all dining room reservations, a 20% service charge will be added your bill as well as a 5% surcharge for San Francisco employee mandates. The entirety of these charges is retained by Quince, of which 100% is distributed to all non-management employees in the form of wages and benefits. We believe this compensation model creates equity, stability, and constancy for all employees across the kitchen and dining room.

Any gratuity paid on the evening of your reservation is at the discretion of each guest and is not required.

Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?

All sales are final and non-refundable.
Please note when making your reservation. Our cancellation policy has been updated. Starting July 31, 2022, all reservations will be subject to our 24-hour cancellation policy, including those with same day COVID 19 related circumstances.

I missed my reservation date, can I apply it as a deposit towards a future date?

Without prior arrangement, we are unable to apply your purchase towards a future date.

May I see a copy of the menu in advance?

We are happy to provide you a sample menu for your reference. Please note that this menu is for representative purposes only, as are menus are guided by the seasons and our ingredients change daily.

What is Feed the Future?

We created a non-profit foundation, FEED THE FUTURE, which supports restaurants and farmers by providing direct aid and resources to Bay Area farms and hospitality workers in order to encourage entrepreneurship and sustainability in our local food supply.

FEED THE FUTURE provides essential, unrestricted resources to those most in need. We award grants to workers who are at risk, facing food insecurity, housing hardship, and medical care. Grants are also available to support our local farm communities by providing direct aid to purchase equipment, upgrade infrastructure, and assist farmers with direct-to-consumer sales.

Our work to help strengthen the local food community and turn ideas into action would not be possible without your financial support. Together, we can help shape our community, drive change, and ensure sustainability for local farms and the hospitality industry. Consider making a tax-deductible contribution.
